Saquon Barkley Totals 61 Yards In Blowout Loss
one year ago

New York Giants running back Saquon Barkley rushed 13 times for 66 yards and caught one pass for negative five yards in the team's 49-17 loss to the Dallas Cowboys. Barkley's struggles stemmed from the inability of the Giants to pass the football, resulting in several short drives in the first half. Their first scoring drive didn't happen until midway through the third quarter. The Giants' coaching staff made sure Barkley got his touches early, even calling a few plays where the Pro Bowler took snaps in a wildcat formation. He will continue to be the headliner of this New York offense, although the deficiencies in the aerial attack will cap his ceiling. The Giants face a softer Washington defense in Week 11.
