Saquon Barkley Tallies 39 Touches Against The Jets
one year ago

New York Giants running back Saquon Barkley rushed the football 36 times for 128 yards and added three catches for a net of zero yards in the team's 13-10 overtime loss to the New York Jets. Quarterback Tyrod Taylor (ribs) left the game in the first half so the Giants leaned on their star running back even more than usual. In fact, the G-Men only attempted 14 passes throughout the entire game. Reserve quarterback Tommy Devito accounted for the only touchdown for the Giants. The entire offense will continue to struggle if neither Daniel Jones (neck) nor Taylor are ready to go against the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 9 but Barkley will get enough work to keep him as an RB1.
