Saquon Barkley Stays Limited Thursday
one year ago

New York Giants running back Saquon Barkley (ankle) remained limited in practice on Thursday. Barkley suffered a high-ankle sprain in Week 2 and hasn't played in a game since. He's made some progress but has now been limited in eight straight practices. The 26-year-old might need to upgrade to a full practice on Friday to have a legitimate shot at returning this Sunday night against the Buffalo Bills. Barkley is typically a must-start in fantasy lineups when he's active, but he could be limited if he returns in Week 6 in a very tough matchup on the road in Buffalo against the Bills. On top of it, New York's offensive line remains beat up and quarterback Daniel Jones (neck) is looking unlikely to play. All signs are pointing toward keeping Barkley on the bench yet again this week.
