Saquon Barkley Salvages Night With Long Runs
one year ago

New York Giants running back Saquon Barkley was bottled up for most of the team's 14-9 loss to the Buffalo Bills but broke off a pair of long runs in the fourth quarter. The former Pro Bowl back galloped for 19 and 34 yards on back-to-back plays to begin what ended up being New York's final scoring drive. On the evening, Barkley rushed 24 times for 93 yards. He added four catches for five yards. It was a large workload for the former first-round pick, who saw his first game action since Week 2 due to an ankle injury. Barkley will return to his status as an RB1 when the Giants host the Washington Commanders in Week 7.
