Saquon Barkley Limited In Wednesday's Practice

New York Giants running back Saquon Barkley (ankle) was listed as a limited practice participant on Wednesday. Barkley was on last week's injury report with an elbow injury but he played through it in the Week 8 overtime loss to the New York Jets. The 26-year-old missed Weeks 3-5 after suffering a high-ankle sprain in Week 2, so the Giants are likely giving him a maintenance day before the Week 9 contest against the Las Vegas Raiders this Sunday. Still, the star RB is worth monitoring the rest of the week. If he's limited at all due to his ankle, backfield mate Matt Breida would be in line to see more work. Barkley is averaging 15.5 half-PPR fantasy points so far in 2023 in five games played, which ranks ninth among all RBs. Barkley is a must-start in all fantasy lineups and he should see a boost with the impending return of quarterback Daniel Jones (neck) this week.
