Saquon Barkley Joining Team Drills Wednesday
one year ago

New York Giants running back Saquon Barkley (ankle) will join team drills in practice on Wednesday for the first time since suffering a high-ankle sprain in Week 2, according to head coach Brian Daboll. Barkley will officially be listed as limited on the first injury report of the week. He has sat out the last two games, but Barkley should have a better chance at returning for the Week 5 tilt in Miami against the Dolphins this Sunday. We should have a better idea of whether the 26-year-old will be able to return this weekend after a few more practices from the Giants on Friday. If Barkley is out for a third straight game, Matt Breida should once again lead the backfield in what has been a pretty bad Giants offense through four weeks.
