Saquon Barkley Expected To Be Game-Time Decision
one year ago

New York Giants running back Saquon Barkley (ankle) will practice again on Saturday, and head coach Brian Daboll expects to take the decision on whether Barkley plays on Monday against the Seattle Seahawks up to game time. Barkley suffered a high-ankle sprain in Week 2 and did not suit up in the Week 3 loss to the San Francisco 49ers. However, the 26-year-old has apparently made solid progress this week and has been practicing on a limited basis the last two days. Given the nature of his injury, it would be somewhat of a surprise for Barkley to miss just one game, and he's an extremely risky fantasy lineup option in Week 4 with the game being on Monday. Even if Barkley is active, he could be very limited in what he can do. Matt Breida, Gary Brightwell and rookie Eric Gray would likely form a committee again if Barkley is ruled out.
