Saquon Barkley Cleared Of Elbow Issue, An RB1 In Week 8

New York Giants running back Saquon Barkley (elbow) was listed as a full participant in practice on Friday and has no injury designation for Sunday's game against the New York Jets. With injury issues out of the way, Barkley is expecting another day with over 20 carries and some extra work in the passing game. The offense will continue to be centered around the 2018 Rookie of the Year with Daniel Jones (neck) still on the sidelines. Since his return from an ankle sprain, Barkley is averaging 26 touches per game. That kind of volume locks him in as an RB1 in Week 8 against the Jets.
