San Francisco 49ers D/ST - Week 2 Outlook For Fantasy Football

The San Francisco 49ers D/ST dominated the Steelers in Pittsburgh in Week 1, accumulating five sacks and two interceptions, while only allowing seven points. 49ers all-pro edge rusher Nick Bosa only played in 56% of defensive snaps, a number that is expected to go up as Bosa gets up to speed following a holdout that ended only days before the opener. Obviously, this only makes San Francisco's defense nastier. In Week 2 the 49ers travel to Los Angeles to take on the Rams, whose offense looked surprisingly good against a respectable Seattle defense last week. Nevertheless, the 49ers D/ST is a no-brainer start against a Rams team with no Cooper Kupp, an immobile quarterback in Matthew Stafford, and an offensive line Pro Football Focus has ranked at No.13 in the NFL this week.
