Samaje Perine Not A Safe Choice For Week 8
one year ago

Denver Broncos running back Samaje Perine hasn't had the year most thought he would. The former Bengal has just 98 yards off 26 carries and 20 catches for 215 yards through the first seven weeks. More alarming, he hasn't scored a touchdown as a runner or pass-catcher. Most had assumed Perine at least had a shot at surpassing Javonte Williams in production, even if the former technically didn't leap past the latter on the depth chart. Instead, Jaleel McLaughlin has arguably been the best back in Denver, and he doesn't appear to be going away anytime soon. As a result, fantasy managers should leave Perine out of the starting lineup in Week 8 against the Chiefs and not consider starting him again this season until he turns it around.
