Samaje Perine Has Team-High Seven Catches In Win Over Vikings

Denver Broncos running back Samaje Perine has been off the fantasy radar since early in 2023 with rookie Jaleel McLaughlin essentially passing him on the depth chart behind Javonte Williams. However, Perine was involved heavily in the passing attack in the Week 11 win over the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday night and finished with a team-high seven catches on seven targets for 60 yards while carrying the ball once for a seven-yard gain. The receptions and targets were both season-highs for the 28-year-old in a game in which the Broncos trailed for the majority of the action. It was a nice showing for Perine, but fantasy managers shouldn't expect to continue as long as Williams and McLaughlin are healthy, especially in a tough Week 12 matchup against the Cleveland Browns. Perine hasn't seen more than two carries since Week 5, when Williams was out due to injury.
