Detroit Lions tight end Sam LaPorta has hauled in 35 of his 49 targets for 377 yards and three touchdowns so far in his rookie campaign. The first-year pro has exceeded expectations and is playing in one of the best offenses in the NFL. That said, he remains a must-start against the Las Vegas Raiders on Monday Night Football. The Raiders have been a mid-level defense against tight ends this year, so there are no matchup concerns in this spot. LaPorta has top-five upside at the fantasy tight end spot in Week 8.
