Sam LaPorta Receives Healthy Amount Of Targets In Week 2
one year ago

Detroit Lions tight end Sam LaPorta caught five passes for 63 yards on six targets in the Lions' 37-31 overtime loss to the Seattle Seahawks. The receiving yardage placed LaPorta third on the Lions, behind Amon-Ra St. Brown and Josh Reynolds. The rookie continues to have a noteworthy presence in the Lions' passing attack, posting his second-straight game with five receptions. The second-round pick is still searching for his first career NFL touchdown. He receives a plus matchup against the Atlanta Falcons in Week 3 and should be considered a top-12 option at the tight end position.
