Sam LaPorta Posts Mild Week 10 Performance
one year ago

Detroit Lions tight end Sam LaPorta came into Week 10 with a favorable outlook against the Los Angeles Chargers, who have surrendered big games to the position this season. However, the rookie caught just four passes for 40 yards and failed to reach the end zone in the shootout victory. Although it was still a decent showing at the scarce tight end position, it was somewhat of a letdown considering Jared Goff threw for 333 yards and the Lions scored 41 points. Still, the Iowa product remains a must-start heading into a matchup with the Chicago Bears in Week 11. He has a top-five tight end outlook for the rest of the season.
