Salvon Ahmed Back In The Mix In The Miami Backfield
one year ago

Miami Dolphins running back Salvon Ahmed (groin/coach's decision) is practicing in full this week as he prepares to make his return to the gameday roster. The fourth-year back missed time with a groin injury but was a healthy scratch in Week 5, largely due to the emergence of rookie De'Von Achane. Achane (knee) is now on injured reserve, opening the door for Ahmed to return to the backup role. Veteran Jeff Wilson Jr. (ribs/finger) is in his 21-day practice window to be elevated off of injured reserve. He logged a limited practice on Wednesday. If Wilson isn't ready for game action, Ahmed will likely serve as the second option behind starter Raheem Mostert.
