The New Orleans Saints defense had a bounce-back game in Week 17, only allowing 13 points against a Tampa Bay offense that had been hot. The Saints notched two sacks, two fumble recoveries, and two interceptions en route to a 23-13 win. This week against the Atlanta Falcons, the Saints' defense can be trusted in lineups again. The Falcons have been night-and-day offensively at home and on the road, scoring 24 points per game in Atlanta but only 14 points per game on the road. They will play in New Orleans this week and with Taylor Heinicke (ankle) questionable, Desmond Ridder could be under center. Regardless of who starts at quarterback, the Saints' defense should be ready to cause havoc against a turnover-prone signal caller. Fire them up safely in lineups.
