Ryan Tannehill To Have MRI On His Ankle
one year ago

Tennessee Titans quarterback Ryan Tannehill (ankle) said that he is waiting on the results of X-rays on his injured ankle and will also need to undergo an MRI exam. Tannehill left the game in the fourth quarter after injuring his right ankle in the 24-16 loss to the Baltimore Ravens in London on Sunday and was replaced by Malik Willis. Before leaving with the ankle injury, the 35-year-old signal-caller went just 8-for-16 for 76 yards and an interception. The good news for the Titans and Tannehill is that they have their bye coming up in Week 7, but depending on the results of his X-rays and MRI, he could be forced to miss some time, starting in Week 8 against the Atlanta Falcons on Oct. 29. Willis, mainly for his rushing abilities, would be in play in two-QB superflex leagues if he makes any starts in place of Tannehill.
