Ryan Tannehill's Injury Similar To His Injury Last Year
one year ago

Tennessee Titans head coach Mike Vrabel told reporters on Monday that quarterback Ryan Tannehill's (ankle) injury is similar to the one he dealt with in 2022, and the team will make a decision on his availability after their bye in Week 7. There's no word yet on whether it will be Malik Willis or rookie Will Levis under center if Tannehill isn't ready to play in Week 8 against the Atlanta Falcons. The 35-year-old veteran missed the final three games of the 2022 season and was seen on crutches after the loss to the Baltimore Ravens in London on Sunday, so it seems likely that he's going to miss some time, even with the bye week coming up. Tannehill remains the team's starter when healthy, but Willis or Levis could create some QB controversy in Tennessee if they make one or more starts and impress. It would be a surprise if the Titans gave Levis the nod over Willis.
