Ryan Tannehill Back On The Practice Field Wednesday
one year ago

Tennessee Titans quarterback Ryan Tannehill (ankle) made his return to practice on Wednesday and was listed as a limited participant. It was the first time that Tannehill has practiced since suffering a high-ankle sprain in Week 6. The veteran signal-caller is clearly improving, but the Titans named rookie quarterback Will Levis as their starter moving forward. It means that whenever Tannehill is game-ready, he will be serving as Levis' backup while holding a clipboard on the sideline. Even in his first two NFL starts, Levis has displayed much more upside for Tennessee's offense than Tannehill. The 35-year-old Tannehill was completing only 62 percent of his pass attempts for 1,128 yards, two touchdowns and six touchdowns in six games before getting hurt.
