Russell Wilson Underwhelms In Week 7 Win
one year ago

Denver Broncos quarterback Russell Wilson looked better than he did last week in the 19-17 Week 7 win over the Green Bay Packers on Sunday, but he left a lot to be desired for fantasy managers that used him as a QB1 streamer. Wilson led the offense to just one touchdown on the day, which was an 18-yard strike to receiver Courtland Sutton. The veteran QB finished 20-for-29 for 194 yards, the one touchdown and no interceptions on the day while running once for 21 yards. Wilson was sacked just once. The 34-year-old avoided turnovers, but it's now the third straight game in which he's failed to reach 200 yards passing. Wilson has done a good job avoiding mistakes in 2023 but he has fizzled out of late. He will get a rematch in Week 8 with a Chiefs defense that held him to under 100 yards passing just last Thursday.
