Roschon Johnson Gets 10 Touches In Return
one year ago

Chicago Bears running back Roschon Johnson returned to the field in Week 8 after a two-game absence due to a concussion. During the game, he carried the ball six times for a total of 21 yards and caught three passes for an additional 10 yards. Unfortunately, the game script was not in his favor, as the Bears were playing from behind for most of the game. Despite the absence of starter Khalil Herbert (ankle), Johnson's role didn't expand as much as expected, as the team appeared to ease him back into action. However, with Herbert likely to remain sidelined for an extended period, Johnson will continue to receive opportunities to make his mark in the backfield. Looking ahead to Week 9, Johnson faces a tough matchup against the Saints, who have been stingy against running backs this season. At present, Johnson's starting value is somewhat limited as he shares touches in a running back committee, but his role could evolve as the season progresses.
