Ronnie Rivers To Miss Four To Five Weeks
one year ago

Los Angeles Rams running back Ronnie Rivers (knee) suffered a knee injury in the team's win over the Arizona Cardinals in Week 7. An MRI revealed Rivers is dealing with a Grade 3 PCL sprain that is expected to sideline him for four or five weeks. Given the timetable, he could be placed on Injured Reserve. Meanwhile, Kyren Williams (ankle) is expected to miss the Week 7 game against the Pittsburgh Steelers with an ankle injury, so rookie Zach Evans and veteran Royce Freeman will likely lead the Rams' backfield during his absence. It's unclear which running back will see more touches, but both are now on the waiver wire radar. The Steelers surrendered the 11th-most fantasy points per game to running backs before going on a Week 6 bye.
