Robert Woods Expected To Miss Week 9
one year ago

Houston Texans wide receiver Robert Woods (foot) is not practicing on Wednesday due to a foot injury that is expected to keep him out for another game in Week 9 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers this Sunday, according to a league source. Woods was inactive in the Week 8 loss to the Carolina Panthers and could miss more time beyond Week 9, so fantasy managers in shallow leagues should have already sent him to the waiver wire. The 31-year-old hasn't done much this year anyway, catching 22 of 43 targets for 227 yards and one touchdown in six games played. As long as the veteran wideout remains sidelined, it will mean more work and upside for pass-catchers Nico Collins, rookie Tank Dell and Noah Brown.
