Rico Dowdle In Danger Of Missing Thanksgiving Game?

Dallas Cowboys running back Rico Dowdle (ankle) could be in danger of missing this year's Thanksgiving game on Thursday against the Washington Commanders after picking up two DNPs to begin Week 12 preparation on Monday and Tuesday. Dowdle was a late addition to the Week 11 injury report on Saturday, but he was active in spite of a questionable tag. The 25-year-old has been more efficient than lead back Tony Pollard this year, but he mustered a weak 20 scrimmage yards on 10 touches in Sunday's win over the Carolina Panthers. Dallas could choose to give the backup RB an extra week of rest given their short turnaround. If Dowdle doesn't get the green light on Turkey Day, rookie Deuce Vaughn would serve as Pollard's backup against Washington.
