Rico Dowdle Could Have A Big Game In Week 11

Dallas Cowboys running back Rico Dowdle (ankle) could have a big game in Week 11 against the Carolina Panthers. Dowdle was on the injury report with an ankle issue, but was able to get in a full practice on Wednesday, so barring any setbacks, there should be no concern about his availability for Sunday's game. Dowdle soundly outplayed Tony Pollard in Week 10 despite only playing on 28% of the team's offensive snaps. With Pollard struggling all season but especially lately, the Cowboys figure to give the currently more explosive Dowdle more chances this week, and it's a good running back matchup against the Panthers defense. There's plenty of risk involved in starting a backup running back in fantasy leagues, but there could be some nice payoff with Dowdle this week. He's at least worth a wait-and-see bench spot in most leagues.
