Dallas Cowboys running back Rico Dowdle (ankle) was a late addition to the team's Week 11 injury report on Saturday and was listed as questionable to play against the Panthers on Sunday, but he's officially active and will suit up. Head coach Mike McCarthy said earlier this week that the team would like to get Dowdle more touches on game days after averaging 4.5 yards per carry on 47 rushing attempts through nine games this season, but the head coach also said he'd be just fine if things continued on as normal in Dallas' backfield. Dowdle has been more productive than lead back Tony Pollard so far in 2023, but that doesn't necessarily mean Dowdle will out-touch his backfield mate in Week 11 unless the Cowboys are up big again, which is entirely possible. At the very least, Dowdle is a necessary handcuff for those that have Pollard rostered.
