Rashid Shaheed Unlikely To Play In Week 13

New Orleans Saints wide receiver Rashid Shaheed (quadriceps) is unlikely to play in Week 13 against the Detroit Lions after getting hurt early in the Week 12 loss to the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday. The 25-year-old caught two passes for nine yards before exiting and never returning. Top wideout Chris Olave also suffered a head injury and never returned, so the Saints could be extremely short-handed at the position come this Sunday. Michael Thomas (hamstring) is on Injured Reserve. Rookie A.T. Perry and Keith Kirkwoods are speculative pickups in deep fantasy leagues this week, while tight ends Taysom Hill and Juwan Johnson could see an uptick in targets in Week 13 against Detroit if both Shaheed and Olave are out. UPDATE: NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports that Shaheed avoided a major injury and is more day-to-day than anything else.
