Rashee Rice Visits End Zone In Debut
one year ago

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Rashee Rice caught 3-of-5 targets for 29 yards and a touchdown in Thursday's 21-20 loss to the Detroit Lions. The Chiefs countered a long Detroit scoring drive with a lengthy touchdown drive of their own across the first and second quarters after Rice got free near the back of the end zone for his first career TD. The second-round rookie also registered a nice 25-yard gain before the first-half's two-minute warning. Rice tied Noah Gray and Kadarius Toney for the team lead in targets in this one. The 23-year-old should be a somewhat trendy Week 2 waiver wire pickup, but he won't have much FLEX viability next Sunday against the Jacksonville Jaguars if Travis Kelce (knee) is ready to go.
