Rashee Rice Arrives, Banks Career-High Figures
12 months ago

Just when it seemed like Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Rashee Rice was losing steam, he produced a career-best effort in Week 12's 31-17 win over the Las Vegas Raiders. Rice hit double figures in targets (10) for the first time this year, banking eight receptions and surpassing the century mark (107 yards). Rice's best play of the day saw him take a short pass over the middle to the house on a 39-yard touchdown in the third quarter with K.C.'s offense firing on all cylinders. At long last, it was the breakout game that Rice's fantasy managers had been waiting patiently on for months. It needs to be mentioned that Kadarius Toney (ankle/hip) and Mecole Hardman Jr. (thumb, IR) were both unavailable, which helped unclog K.C.'s hodgepodge wideout rotation and concentrate it more towards a featured role for Rice. He's not yet vaulted completely over the WR3 barrier, but Rice enters Week 13 against the Green Bay Packers with reclaimed momentum.
