Rashee Rice A Locked-In Fantasy Starter

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Rashee Rice has been a top-five full-PPR fantasy asset over a five-game span since Week 12, regularly offering WR1 numbers in full-PPR scoring. Rice's unique role sees him up to second in the NFL in red-zone targets (22) and yards after catch (565), but he leads the league with seven drops. Though it's clear the Chiefs don't yet trust Rice as a deep threat, the rookie second-rounder compensates for that reduction in fantasy ceiling with dynamic YAC ability and scoring prowess. Nestled into 2022's JuJu Smith-Schuster role, Rice is being peppered with 10 targets per game since Week 12. The Cincinnati Bengals are up next on Sunday, allowing the ninth-most half-PPR fantasy points to enemy WRs. Rice is locked in as a low-end WR1 in full-PPR formats and a high-end WR2 in settings that have less of an emphasis on making receptions a premium for Week 17's fantasy championship.
