Rashaad Penny Puts In Full Practice
one year ago

Philadelphia Eagles running back Rashaad Penny (illness) was able to practice in full for the team's first official practice of the week on Wednesday. Penny was inactive for the Week 5 win over the Los Angeles Rams due to an illness that he picked up on Saturday, but it looks like he's feeling much better heading into the Week 6 tilt against the New York Jets on the road this Sunday. The 27-year-old has been an afterthought in the Philly backfield in his first year with the team, though, as Penny has been active for just two of the team's five games and has seen action just once, when he had three carries for nine yards in Week 2. He's buried on the RB depth chart behind D'Andre Swift, Kenneth Gainwell and Boston Scott right now.
