Rams Waive Darrell Henderson Jr.

The Los Angeles Rams waived running back Darrell Henderson Jr. on Tuesday with Kyren Williams (ankle) set to return from Injured Reserve in Week 12 against the Arizona Cardinals. The Rams reunited with Henderson when Williams went on IR, and he had 46 rushing attempts for 112 yards (2.43 yards per carry) and two touchdowns while adding 10 receptions for 103 yards on 14 targets in four starts with Williams sidelined. Henderson wasn't very efficient on the ground, though, and was also ceding valuable touches to Royce Freeman, who should now operate as Williams' backup down the stretch. If the 26-year-old clears waivers, he could return to the Rams' practice squad as RB depth.
