Rams, Tyler Higbee Agree To Three-Year Extension
one year ago

The Los Angeles Rams and tight end Tyler Higbee (Achilles) agreed to a new three-year contract extension on Friday with a base salary of $27 million, a maximum of $30.5 million and $17 million guaranteed. The 30-year-old former fourth-round pick in 2016 out of Western Kentucky has been a reliable pass-catching tight end for the Rams in his first seven seasons and has 11 receptions for 132 yards and no touchdowns on 15 targets in his first three games in 2023. However, he hasn't practiced this week due to an Achilles injury and could be in danger of missing the Week 4 game against the Indianapolis Colts. And with receiver Cooper Kupp (hamstring) potentially returning in Week 5, Higbee may be harder to trust in fantasy lineups as a low-end TE1 moving forward.
