Raiders Fire Josh McDaniels, Dave Ziegler

The Las Vegas Raiders fired head coach Josh McDaniels and general manager Dave Ziegler on Tuesday night, according to sources. The move comes on Halloween night after the Raiders lost 26-14 on Monday Night Football to the Detroit Lions to drop to 3-5 on the year. "After much thought about what the Raiders need to move forward, I have decided to part ways with Josh and Dave," owner Mark Davis said in a statement. "I want to thank them both for their hard work and wish them and their families nothing but the best." The Raiders traded first- and second-round picks for All-Pro wideout Davante Adams before last season but finished 6-11 before then moving on from long-time QB Derek Carr in favor of Jimmy Garoppolo. Jimmy G has mostly been a failure, isn't involving Adams much and has already missed two games due to injury. It's unclear who will take over as the interim head coach at this time in Vegas.
