Raheem Mostert Expected To Play Through Ankle Injury
11 months ago

Miami Dolphins running backs coach Eric Studesville expects running back Raheem Mostert (ankle) to play through his new ankle injury in the Week 17 showdown against the Baltimore Ravens. Mostert has played through injuries all year, so this is nothing new for the NFL's leader in total touchdowns with 21 (18 rushing, three receiving). The 31-year-old has been rested at practice early in the week all year, so it wasn't a big surprise that he didn't practice on Wednesday. As long as he gets back on the field by Friday, Mostert should be active this Sunday in Baltimore. He played a season-low 19 offensive snaps in last Sunday's win over the Dallas Cowboys, though, so it's worth wondering if rookie De'Von Achane (toe) and Jeff Wilson Jr. could see more involvement in Week 17 if Mostert isn't 100 percent. Despite the injury concern, Mostert has been a must-start in fantasy lineups all year long.
