Raheem Layne Confirmed To Have Torn ACL
one year ago

Los Angeles Chargers safety Raheem Layne (knee) will miss the remainder of the 2023 season after he tore his ACL during a loss to the Dallas Cowboys in Week 6's Monday night game. He injured himself during a punt return in the third quarter and had to be helped off of the field. Layne was a prominent part of the Chargers' special teams and defensive units through the first six weeks of the season. Layne wraps up his 2023 campaign with five tackles in five games. Provided his recovery goes smoothly, he should be ready for the start of the 2024 season.
