Quentin Johnston Puts Up A Donut Against Cowboys
one year ago

Los Angeles Chargers rookie wide receiver Quentin Johnston has failed to capitalize so far with Mike Williams (knee) out for the rest of the season. In the 20-17 loss to the visiting Dallas Cowboys on Monday night, Johnston wasn't able to catch either of his two targets. So far through five games in his first NFL season, Johnston has been a first-round bust, as he's caught just six passes on 13 targets for 44 yards and no touchdowns. Joshua Palmer has taken the expanded opportunity with Williams sidelined and run with it to essentially become the No. 2 pass-catcher behind target hog Keenan Allen in the Chargers offense. The 22-year-old Johnston has seen slightly more playing time the last two games, but for now he belongs on the waiver wire in single-year fantasy formats.
