Quentin Johnston Could See A Larger Role In Week 13
12 months ago

Los Angeles Chargers rookie wide receiver Quentin Johnston (ribs, finger) could see a larger role in a Week 13 game against the New England Patriots. He was listed on the injury report with a rib and a finger injury, but he was able to practice in full every day of the week. Johnston has been almost invisible in his rookie year and hasn't shown too many signs of a breakout yet. Still, due to injuries ahead of him on the depth chart, Johnston could end up being the top wide receiver available for quarterback Justin Herbert to throw to. Keenan Allen (quadriceps) usually soaks up most of the Los Angeles passing-game targets, but he missed two practices this week and is questionable to play Sunday. He may end up being limited in the game on Sunday, leaving Johnston as "the guy" on offense. He's still not a recommended starter in most formats, but he could be a sneaky DFS play for managers willing to take a bit of a risk.
