Proceed With Caution With Gabe Davis In Week 16
11 months ago

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Gabe Davis has astoundingly managed zero catches in four of his past six games despite playing at least 75% of the team's offensive snaps in each outing. The downfield threat's top-10 average target distance (14.6 yards), however, keep him alive as a high-ceiling play in a Josh Allen-led offense finding its groove. Fantasy managers probably know by now what they're getting themselves into when turning to Davis in season-long lineups: a sheer flip of the coin with a floor that isn't for the faint of heart. The 24-year-old is not a bankable option as a high-risk, high-reward WR3/flex but is certainly in play as a single-game DFS choice against the Los Angeles Chargers on Saturday. Season-long managers in postseason contention would be making a gutsy call gambling on Davis' upside in Week 16, but the Bills do carry the slate's highest implied team total (28.5). Play Davis at your own risk.
