Peyton Hendershot Undergoes Offseason Surgery
10 months ago

Dallas Cowboys tight end Peyton Hendershot (ankle) had surgery shortly after the season ended but should be good to go for the team's offseason program this spring. Hendershot only managed to play in eight games in his second NFL season due to injuries, ultimately finishing with just four receptions on seven targets for 38 yards and no touchdowns. It's good news that the 24-year-old's surgery won't really have a negative impact on his offseason training, but he also won't be fantasy relevant in drafts this fall. Hendershot should head to training camp this summer and the preseason as Dallas' No. 3 option at the tight end position behind Pro Bowler Jake Ferguson and Luke Schoonmaker.
