Peyton Hendershot Lands On Injured Reserve
one year ago

The Dallas Cowboys placed tight end Peyton Hendershot (ankle) on Injured Reserve on Thursday. In corresponding moves, the Cowboys signed tight end Sean McKeon from the practice squad to the active roster, signed linebacker Rashaan Evans to the practice squad and designated cornerback Nahshon Wright (ankle) to return from Injured Reserve. Hendershot has missed each of the last two games and will now be forced to miss at least four more games due to his ankle injury. The 24-year-old will be eligible to return on Nov. 19 against the Carolina Panthers. Jake Ferguson is Dallas' clear-cut No. 1 pass-catching tight end, with rookie Luke Schoonmaker and McKeon now backing him up.
