The New England Patriots are interviewing Denver Broncos defensive backs coach Christian Parker on Friday for their defensive-coordinator job, according to a source. Jerod Mayo is now the NFL's youngest head coach at 37 after taking over for future Hall of Famer Bill Belichick, and Parker, who is 32, would become one of the league's youngest coordinators. Carolina Panthers linebackers coach Tem Lukabu is another candidate for the position. Parker joined the Broncos in 2021 as the defensive backs coach and has already worked under Vic Fangio, Nathaniel Hackett and Sean Payton. Before his time in Denver, Parker was a quality control coach for the Green Bay Packers for two years.
