Patrick Mahomes Manages Game In Comeback Win
12 months ago

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes guided his team to a 31-17 come-from-behind win over the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday, completing 27-of-34 passes for 298 yards and two touchdowns with five carries for nine yards. Mahomes hooked up with Justin Watson for an early score from three yards out before later dumping a pass off to rookie Rashee Rice on a drag route for a 39-yard TD in the fourth quarter. Rice's arrival into a greater role alongside top target Travis Kelce could go a long way in rekindling Mahomes' once elite fantasy ceiling, as the 2023 second-round pick has long appeared to be K.C.'s most dangerous wideout this year. The Chiefs take a trip to Lambeau Field for a date with the Green Bay Packers on Sunday Night Football in Week 13, where Mahomes could immediately re-enter top-three conversations with fellow QB1s Josh Allen, Lamar Jackson, and Justin Fields on bye.
