Patrick Mahomes Dinks And Dunks Way To Two Scores
one year ago

It was another week of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes spreading the wealth offensively in Sunday's 21-14 win over the Miami Dolphins, completing 20-of-30 passes for 185 yards and two touchdowns with 24 rushing yards plus a lost fumble. Mahomes got the offense off to a quick start on the opening possession with a seven-play scoring drive, which ended with an 11-yard screen pass to rookie Rashee Rice. Mahomes' second and final TD came on a dump-off to satellite back Jerick McKinnon, who took the ball into the end zone for a 17-yard catch-and-run. It was certainly a major improvement on last Sunday's three-turnover disaster, but Mahomes' ability to consistently provide fantasy points in bunches may be compromised without a defined alpha wide receiver. 11 different pass-catchers were targeted in Week 9. The two-time MVP gets a Week 10 bye before a Super LVII rematch with the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday, Nov. 20.
