Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes couldn't lift his team to victory in Week 14's narrow 20-17 loss to the Buffalo Bills, completing 25-of-43 passes for 271 yards, one touchdown, and one interception. He added an eight-yard carry. Amid a disjointed first half for the Chiefs offense, Mahomes had a pass batted down at the line of scrimmage for a pick during their first possession. The 28-year-old superstar later found rookie wide receiver Rashee Rice in the back of the end zone for a four-yard passing score in the third period but couldn't ultimately rally his squad for a potential game-winning drive, as Kadarius Toney took the wind out of K.C.'s sails with a foolish penalty that nullified a go-ahead 49-yard score.
