The Chiefs rank second in team pass plays per game (37.9), however, and Mahomes sits in the top five in passing touchdowns (23) and QBR (66.8) overall. It hurts to call the perennial All-Pro a midrange QB1 for Week 15's road tilt against the New England Patriots, but Bill Belichick's defense is holding signal-callers to the sixth-fewest fantasy points per game to date. Couple the tough draw with KC coming in as sizable favorites and a low 37-point implied total, and Sunday's matchup may not provide the suitable game environment for Mahomes to boast the elite upside he once flourished.
