Pat Freiermuth Trending In The Wrong Direction
one year ago

Pittsburgh Steelers tight end Pat Freiermuth (hamstring) is unlikely to play in Week 5 against the Baltimore Ravens after missing practice on both Wednesday and Thursday. This comes after head coach Mike Tomlin called Freiermuth "doubtful" to play earlier this week. The 24-year-old suffered a strained hamstring in the Week 4 loss to the Houston Texans and should be moved to benches in fantasy lineups this week. In his absence, rookie Darnell Washington should see a much bigger role in the passing game, although he's not a realistic fantasy streamer at the position. Connor Heyward could also get involved alongside Washington.
