Pat Freiermuth Not Expected To Play After Suffering Setback
one year ago

Pittsburgh Steelers tight end Pat Freiermuth (hamstring) is expected to miss the Week 7 game against the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday and will likely be sidelined longer after aggravating his hamstring injury in practice on Thursday, according to sources. Freiermuth had an MRI exam on Friday morning and his return to action is now on hold. It's a bummer for fantasy managers that were itching to get him back into their lineups this week. Coming off the bye, the 24-year-old put in a full practice on Wednesday before aggravating his hamstring Thursday. Return him to your benches for now. Darnell Washington will once again have a bigger role against the Rams, but he's not a realistic streaming option. The 22-year-old has just one catch for 10 yards on three targets in five games in 2023.
