Panthers List Nine Head Coach Candidates For Initial Requests

The Carolina Panthers have officially confirmed a list of nine head coaching candidates for initial requests. Once David Tepper took over as the owner of the team in 2018-19, the Panthers have gone through six head coaches if you count the interim coaches. They even got rid of their general manager after three seasons. The names among the list of candidates include Ben Johnson, Bobby Slowik, Brian Callahan, Dan Quinn, Mike MacDonald, Frank Smith, Raheem Morris, Todd Monken, and Dave Canales. Detroit Lions offensive coordinator Ben Johnson is reportedly the favorite candidate of the bunch since Tepper and company expressed interest in him last season before he decided to return to the Lions. Tepper has said that he's going to perform a thorough search after botching the last three coaching hires he made.
