Panthers In The Market For Wide Receiver
one year ago

The Carolina Panthers continue to build for the future and solidify their roster for 2023 and beyond after they traded to acquire the No. 1 pick in this year's draft, which they used to select quarterback Bryce Young. The Panthers have already been active on the trade front this year, according to sources, calling several teams about a potential trade for a starting wide receiver. Carolina has DJ Chark Jr. and Adam Thielen, but they are looking for more for Young. The Panthers also have rookie Jonathan Mingo, but he has had a slow start with eight catches for 64 yards in his first three games. Young has completed 59.2% of his passes for 299 yards in two games, with two TDs and two picks. Even though they are 0-3, they aren't signaling to teams that they are interested in trading away players for draft picks.
